How Does The Clear Aligner Process Work?

During the consultation, our orthodontic specialists will take X-rays and digital scans of your teeth in order to create a treatment plan. Once the treatment plan is created, you’ll be able to see a virtual representation of how your teeth will look at the end of treatment. Next, clear aligners will be custom-made for your mouth based on the treatment plan. You’ll need to wear the aligners for 20-22 hours a day, and you’ll need to change to a new set of aligners every two weeks. As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth will gradually shift into their new positions. The entire process usually takes an average of 9-15 months, and then you’ll be able to enjoy your new smile!
